Service Delivery Specialist (Global Spend Management)

Global Spend Management (GSM) is a shared service function helping Aon manage spend. GSM helps colleagues make purchases in an efficient and strategic way, helping Aon achieve the highest quality with the lowest risk to the firm at the lowest cost. GSM touches all colleagues in our firm and impacts multiple facets of our day-to-day business activities. We categorize spend into different categories such as IT, professional services, and marketing & print. The Service Delivery Specialist reporting to the Operational Services Delivery Manager, will have the responsibility to handle the daily operations related to IT & Services category across North America, EMEA & APAC.

  • Support Regional Delivery leads to ensure once the sourcing & contracting functions have delivered, the transaction is operationalized for the stakeholders and end-users
  • Support Global & Regional Category leads with solutions that help build operational efficiency
  • Handle day to day operations & issues with categories where Global Spend Management support is required
  • Help facilitate Invoice allocations for shared services with global contracts
  • Help manage Subscription details and keep track of data services & licenses
  • Coordinate pipeline in line to category strategies
  • Assist with concerns and/or issue resolution
  • Help coordinate operational services across various Aon functions, like HR, Finance, IT & Marketing.


  • English - C1 level
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proven success of carrying out operations and services delivery
  • Possesses strong ability to partner and influence regional and global stakeholders
  • Strong financial and business acuity, particularly related to spend/procurement
  • Proven ability to work in global, virtual & remote team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent work & task management skills
  • Ability to analyse processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Ability to identify and respond to risks
